We are proud to be a small farm dedicated to raising exceptional huacaya and suri alpacas with beautiful fiber and friendly dispositions. John and I have been raising alpacas for 10 years and have had over 60 cria born here.  At Ideuma Creek Alpaca Farm, you'll find excellent quality breeding stock.  We breed for correct conformation and large-boned, strong, healthy animals.  Our alpacas have beautiful fiber and lots of it!  Because we are a small farm, and always intend to stay that way, our animals are friendly and cared for with TLC by us personally.  We sell only a few animals a year and only to homes that will provide excellent care and individualized attention to each alpaca.  People who own our alpacas have become our life-long friends.

We are also pleased to be able to offer beautiful products made from alpaca fiber.  If you are unfamiliar with alpaca fiber, please allow us to introduce you to it.  Alpacas produce one of the world's finest and most luxurious natural fibers.  Soft as cashmere and warmer, lighter and stronger than wool, it comes in more natural colors than any other fiber produced by animals.  This cashmere-like fleece, once reserved for Incan royalty, is now enjoyed by spinners, weavers, and consumers around the world.  To read more about alpaca fiber, visit this link: alpaca fiber.

We are located just across Ideuma Creek in the beautiful Unadilla Valley located in upstate New York.  We are just about midway between Albany and Binghamton just of I88.  John and I have lived here on our land for more than 15 years.  Our farm consists of 140 acres of woodlands, meadows, and pastures.  Our home and barns sit on about 10 acres of pasture, lawn and perennial gardens far off the quiet road we live on.  It's peaceful and tranquil here, and we love it.  Choosing to have alpacas in our lives is by far the best decision we have made.
